I am looking for a terminal gemini browser that I can block the ability to save files or follow non-gemini urls. I have looked at modifying astro but I wish pages were displayed with numbered links. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for all of the replies. I need to play with diohsc with more - I am not familiar with the usage yet. Last night, I compiled telescope on my android under termux/alpine. It runs there but crashes each on each gemini url I tried. I need to compile/test on the server that I want to run this from. My final goal is to have an option on my BBS that users can browse geminispace after they have logged into the BBS. I just don't want them to be able to download files that could fill up the partion that the BBS is using. · 11 months ago
Just taked with Yumh...
You can run telescope --safe and it will work as kiosk mode! · 11 months ago
I'll ask yumh to add this feature to Telescope, altough I use DucklingProxy and therefore I can open unreadable pages on Telescope... 😂 · 11 months ago
diohsc has a --restricted option for this · 11 months ago
@nristen in the amfora install folder there is a file called "default-config.toml" which has some settings which you might have missed like to disable following http links (line 47). Not sure about the saving files thing though, maybe direct amforas download directory to the trash bin · 11 months ago
@smokey Yes, in fact amfora is my favorite browser. I was hoping to disable the ability to block certain functions so that it could be used in a "kiosk" type mode (no following non gemini links or saving files). · 11 months ago
Have you tried amfora yet? · 11 months ago
