In a past life I used to be a wooden boatbuilder. An old friend just asked me to take a drawing from a 100 year old design and produce an offset table for him: measurements in a standardized format that describe all the important lines of a boat, to be drawn out full size on the floor and from there, molds for the boat are made. - My cert expires
- My computer is stolen or dies
- I want to log in from multiple devices
When I first signed up for Station, I set my client cert to expire two weeks later—just long enough for me to completely forget about it. And now I'm totally locked out of that account with no way back in. (Also @martin, I am not picking on you or Station specifically!)
I wonder what patterns we will collectively come up with to address those shortcomings of client certs above?
