This is a wordlog for the SpellBinding puzzle (in which you construct words using the specified letters; each word must contain the anchor letter).
Yesterday's words:
BIMBO BOMB BOOB BOOM BOOR BRIO BROOM BURO BURRO MIRROR MOOR OPIUM OPPROBRIUM POMP POOP POOR POORI POUR PRIOR PROP ROMP ROOM RUMOR
Pangrams: OPPROBRIUM: public disgrace or ill fame; contempt, reproach...
Missed: PROM (thanks leafstorm).
As for Wordo, QUAIS looks crazy, but 'quai' is an acceptable spelling of quay, a structure built parallel to the bank of a waterway used as a landing place. QUAY, or QUAI, is a fascinating word: you can pronounce it any way you want (ˈkē, ˈkā or ˈkwā), and, apparently, spell it pretty much any way you want!
And we have BIMBO, a strong opening.
BURROs are donkeys that run wild around the outskirts of Las Vegas.
Another day.
