what do I want?
how do you question, pray tell?
I may yet ask the same of you
expect more than the instant answer-
what does the world breathe on then,
that you might accost me of my wants
expect by some pale light
to understand my answers - or comprehend my breathing-
what then, want I nothing?
of you any certainty I cannot tell
brave enough to ask am I, smart like tomb for silence
when young
I was asked to become stuffing
cease without complaint
