this fever (you call it)
consumes my -- mind
scenting wood, moss, vacancy
making, taking, break weave of thought
caressing -- like insanity's velvet gloved touch
so -- like loosing -- this consumption
self -- like entropy -- loosing
a hot death -- cankered --
flies inside -- buzz -- whispering
god touched -- dropped a seed
left mystery -- this fever'd abyss
buzz -- buzz
for what petals -- this flower beckons --
open -- honey'd drawings -- of chitin legs
clatter snapping -- a walking wake dream
instilled crackle heat -- this fever
eyes -- a thousand thanotic beads of glisten
like blades' own brightness -- crescent open
wound cold amidst own roots -- clearly --- god touched
where the sap rots
cadaver -- this fever leaves -- unlessened
touch -- flay -- unmotion'd
trees close -- scented of dark-- and poison
soon -- to walk alone -- where the dead sleep
savant -- once made so -- a potion
called it religion -- named vice -- made ablutions
left prints in wood -- rested -- blessed
amidst this -- fever -- stands green shadow
wood empty -- full -- shattercast, moon lighted
natural forms -- mind, body, question -- where is I
where is I -- this fever -- dressed -- wakes swish --
swish -- scent water, lichen world -- and step
step -- step
this fever (you call it)
of golem -- trust -- and corrosion
I -- thus -- of wood, of lichen world
awake -- blood touched -- or unpolluted
