I have been a hobbyist programmer since 1985. I cut my teeth on the early PC's of the 80's. TRS-80, Color Computer, Apple II, Tandy, IBM PC and more.
I ran a BBS (Bulletin Board System) for several years in the early 90's, during the heyday of the demo, music and ANSi art scenes. Some of my ANSi art from 1993 can be found on popular ANSi archive websites.
When BBSes started to die out I transitioned to the early web and ran several websites centered around my hobbies and interests. I honed my skills as a programmer and immersed myself in creativity on the computer.
I was hired right out of high school into a telecommunications company where I worked my way up to an IT tech. I worked thirty years and retired in 2020, at the age of 49.
I continue to explore all things computer and enjoy the hobby of my childhood. On any given day you can find me into something technical and engaging.
