So geminauts, it is December here, and regardless of what you believe in it's time for advent calendars. In the last few years I liked to do follow the Advent of Code challenge/calendar, and probably I will try to do it this year too (even if I will probably drop it around the 16th like every year, since real life becomes very busy near the holidays). Will any of you participate in it? Will you participate in some other advent calendar/daily challenge this month? Do you have any last time reccomendation for fellow capsuleers? Do you know of any such challenge hosted here on Gemini?

I just lost two hours because Pandas is developed by people in the US, so read_csv parses dates assuming by default they are in mm-dd-yyyy format ._.

I finally managed to get amfora to connect to station with the right certificate (for one or another reason I spent like to days on this). Now I can go back to lurking for the next couple monts.

Today I discovered this extremely weird thing called GB KISS, a functionality developed by Hudson Games (Pokemon TCG, Bomberman, mario Party) that allowed GameBoy games to interact using a IR port implemented in the cartridge. It is something that never left Japan, but apparently enabled email on Nintendo stuff years before the GB Mobile Adapter. Also, probably allowed the first DLC for an handheld console. Also also there is only one website (and exactly two webpages afaik) that talk about this. Just got into the Geminiverse. I'll probably set up a personal capsule soon, but until then I'll just stay here, at least until I get the hang of this protocol.
