The Narrow Path By

trying to find seven-hour home in loft ��s burial fish
staves adrift in circumspection, lath and shift awash
fins unsettled sweep below, circling ever under doorways
passing twixt laminated stone, rippled into wandering
masala wafted somewhere close, ring of steel diminishing
wavered swells in mirror dwelling, harbor sold in telling
elders raising cachetted oil, swallow harder, follow
where dormers swiftly cleaned for company
who never rise, whose raze would gap-tooth shatter
who ��s rail this, tarred and brushed, leaded to all combers
blacked sunset seeping, creeping slumber, interstitial palaver
lays fest before and after supper, but seated stipples napkin
wrapping rings where oaken things have sung so deep
forty-three minutes pale, lipless, bequesting journey
slipshod, hipshot, a bespoken dream, well ripped at neap tide
drawing upon one ��s reconnoiters, taught canvas to wind
learned legends unpronounceable in script without location
creaking all around contours, charted unmarketable
diminutive recombination, sees rise, seized bedding
unthreading labyrinth, post and beam born cape around
tying for that foundered swing roped ceiling wards
sooted manufacture in symbol naut re-folded
seared heart is, steered starward, lagging on the rip, tied
groggy, lost in difference, those crumpled mutters rubbing
where fathomed is rivulet, light in pouring dribbles
flown slow clefts, wrecks ledged each upon another
hammocks still swinging twenty-seven days sidereal
awake, a wake, awaken
