Collaborative Directory of Geminispace
This is intended to be a comprehensive guide to interesting resources in Geminispace.
Links are contributed by users. The Directory as a whole is curated and edited by me (mbays@sdf.org).

What links to add
- Please add links to resources you think may be of interest.
- Only working gemini:// links will be accepted.
- Try to minimise clutter. Don't link to an individual page if it's part of a collection you could link to instead. In particular, try not to link to individual glog posts.
- Aim for narrow categorisation. Don't link to the top level of a capsule if it consists of sections which should appear in different categories.
- Think long-term. Try not to link to anything which will be outdated in a few months.
- Try to avoid duplication, but if a link really makes sense in two categories, it can appear in both.
How to add a link
- Descend the category hierarchy to find where the link fits best, then select 'add' (even if there are currently no links in that category).
- You will need to provide a client certificate; any will do.
- You will be asked to provide a title for the link. This should include a brief description when appropriate (if the nature of the resource is not clear from its natural title and the category). Please use the primary language of the linked resource for this title/description.
- You can edit links you created, in case you need to fix a mistake. To see the option to edit your link, request the category page with the same certificate you used to create the link.
- For now at least, users can not create new categories, nor edit links made by other users.
Privacy
Your IP address will not be logged, but a salted hash of the client certificate you provide when adding a link will be recorded and made publically available in the git repository below.
Copying/Forking
The Directory is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Sharealike 4.0 licence by the CDG Contributors. The code for this gemini interface is released under the GPL.
Both are available by git. If you dislike the job I'm doing in curating the Directory, or if I seem to have abandoned the project, you can fork it and run your own instance. You would also be welcome to establish read-only mirrors and experiment with the user interface.
