once, it went without saying
that the stomach remained unturned
forensics over luncheon
durian at noon
but migraine days hold sway
with modified sensorium
while down the hall a rolling boil
preps fish sauce with maple syrup
with lime-and-bourbon concoction
intended for marination
it seems my days �� indifference
has stumbled to an end
