Touch Typing
June 12, 2022
with silicone molds
of one hundred and one navels
the belly board
was simultaneously disturbing
because silicone feels weird
and because being human
also feels just off
pretty darn regularly
getting the letters
on those organic shapes
nearly as troubling
as trying to remember
which one was mine
to the point
that the underlying metaphor
has been forgotten
and all I can think
is that I really, really
need to stop touching this
right now
