should you call me by my chosen name
depending on inflected cadence
depending on your frame of reference
perhaps my gaze shall turn your way
where given names, sans preference
turn a very different haze
aye, and come to prominence
I ��ll lay upon your steps in trade
those good things I have learned
or should you spurn my choice
a vice or three, or five
in avaricious glee
but should you seek a binding
my names are passing memory
woven, prith I thee already
broken free
