In a statement this evening, gardaí said the operation marks a
'significant development' in an ongoing Criminal Assets Bureau

A €146,000 BMW car, two Rolex watches and around €15,000 in cash have
been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau in Dublin this morning.
Seven searches were carried out in professional premises and one in a
residence in the Dublin 13 area of North Dublin.
Jewellery valued more than €20,000 and documents that related to
financial and property transactions were also seized.

This investigation, they say, is focused on the assets of an
international organised criminal group involved in the cultivation,
sale and supply of controlled drugs through a network of cannabis grow
houses, brothel-keeping and the "subsequent laundering of the proceeds
of their criminal conduct".
