in the ward, doctors looked me over
an hour old, well striped, whiskers out to here
and in their notations, declared that my condition
wasn ��t operable, survival chances low
intending perhaps to say furry
assigned, as one does, at birth
alas, an R was dropped
leaving me both pirate free
and enraged through and through
forever seeking evil-doers
so many sisters gone before
shadows hiding changes, rearrangement
forever in the nature, survival chances low
so angry, always coming back
