Uses a 9.5" (24cm) pie form. (175° C)
For the crust, use the Oil Pie Crust. Pre-baking the crust is not required.
(2 deciliters) brown sugar
(1.5 deciliters) dark syrup
(50 grams) butter, melted
(4) eggs
(1 teaspoon) vanilla sugar
(200 grams) pecans, coarsely chopped
Combine sugar and butter and mix until smooth. Mix in syrup and vanilla. Mix in eggs. Mix in pecans and pour into prepared pie shell. Bake at 175° C for about 35 to 45 minutes. It is ready when the whole pie filling is swollen, even in the center, and should be removed then before it burns.
Don't use the fan at 175°C, it will burn before the center is done.
