Comrade ew0k sent out an announcement regarding their latest gemlog aggregator project recently, and I am intrigued by the direction they took with it.

In addition to this being a clever, innovative solution to a traditional problem that aggregators face, I think that this is doubly exciting because of the implications it has for server-to-server interactions within Gemini space. This sort of thing stimulates discussion around more than just the typical "yet another server" and "yet another client" that we see around here (not to disparage such discourse, mind you; I enjoy taking part in server development myself obviously).
This has me thinking: should we start making a list of 'URLs to ping' a staple of our gemlog workflows? I've already included gemcall line in my own scripts for Antenna.
Will we end up developing announce-aggregators that host lists of aggregator URLs to ping?

ngl though the idea of a gemlog announce-aggregator is kinda hot
