We return to the Gabby and Rachel of it all.
All the girls from Clayton's season, which includes Gabby, Rachel, Mara, Kate, Genevieve, Shanae, and Serene, are super intense.
Gabby and Rachel's opinions on the boys from their season:
- Tyler: Glowing reviews. Totally approve of him. (And I couldn't agree more)
- Johnny: They kind of gloss over him? Maybe they'll come back to him.
- Logan: Rachel straight-up says she doesn't respect him. He has four exes on the beach right now, and his flip-flopping and gamesmanship is on full display. They address how he likes to wield control of a situation. They really like Kate and are trying very hard to steer her far, far away from him.
It's interesting how much everyone on the beach likes Logan. He's definitely changed his rep for the better.
We _finally_ get some Tyler/Brittany time with their date card. There better not be any food involved...
Genevieve and Aaron are my favourite couple right now. They're so explosive and chaotic and fighting about whether itching and pain are different and it ends up with Genevieve packing her bags and calling for a car. They're a perpetual fighting machine and I am here for it.
I was hoping this show forgot about Michael and Danielle, but alas, they're shoving their faces in our faces all over again. Ugh, gross.
Brittany and Tyler are another fave couple. They're so cute together and they're both so sweet. It's nice to have someone to cheer for in the middle of all the chaos.
New Guests:
- Thomas and Becca: Met each other on last season of Paradise.
"Bachelor Nation Royalty" Becca and Thomas are inviting everyone to a dance where the girls as the boys to the dance. 90's night y'all!
Kate's opinion of Logan:
1. He's tall
2. He's hot
3. He's too young
And that's it. That's all she ever talks about. I'm starting to understand Logan's frustration.
Off to the Dance!
We're forced to watch these people dance and get into an awkward dance-off. Super weird, not my thing honestly.
Jessenia is forced to watch Andrew and Ency dance and make-out in front of her. And the craziest thing about this, THIS HAPPENED TO HER LAST SEASON! Poor girl is constantly getting screwed over and that sucks. And can I just say, she's been so composed and emotionally intelligent, and just wanted him to show her even a modicum of respect. It's tough seeing her go through all that.
Andrew's conversation with Jessenia is brutal. He keeps claiming he's trying to find love, and Jessenia confronts him with the fact that he's switched to a different woman several times this season and not giving any relationship any actual time to develop. Then she drops the hammer and says he "skirted by" on paradise, which, honestly, I kind of agree with. He had Teddi from day one, then Brittany, then Jessenia, now Ency. In a relationship at the opportune moment so as to get a rose and stay for another week.
The alcohol's been flowing, words are slurring a bit, and Ency is getting riled up by Andrew and Jessenia's conversation. Ency just walks up to Andrew and throws an ultimatum in his face. Jessenia is too cool for this show.
Andrew's a good guy, he has a heart of gold. But this show isn't the right place for him. It puts him into situations where he's hurting people without even realizing it.
Holy shit he's been hung up on Teddi the entire season!!!! Wow, I'm shocked...
And we have to lose Jessenia over this. That really sucks.
And now Andrew has to break up with Ency and he's in tears and Ency's in tears and grappling him and begging him to stay. It's brutal.
Andrew looks utterly defeated, he can't even hear Ency's repeated "please please please". And just like that Andrew walks right out, barely saying goodbye to anyone, followed by a distraught Ency, who I should remind you has been on the island for like two days.
Wowza, we gotta wait till next week for the two part finale!
