July was mostly about health. First I got my second 💉 vaccine shot and Alba got her first so we are almost ready to travel again when conditions allow 🥳. The other topic is that the very same day we were supposed to start our summer holidays week I got appointed to a small surgery I was waiting for more than a year so we had to cancel the trip and change it by a sort of *staycation*. The surgery went well but I'm sore and I can't do much outside home, putting a lot of extra work on Alba to take care of Bernat 😓. I hope I can go back to
This month has been quiet and easy, not much to report. I'm still working on a reduced working hours and I plan to move from working from home to a close small office.
I got notice that I will be speaking at FOSS4G[1] in September 🎉, looking forward for that! I also got invited to my alma mater graduation event in Sagunto's Roman Theatre[2]. It was nice to see the excitement of the young engineers and catching up a bit with university folks.

This month I finished (finally!) The Dispossessed[3] and I really haven't advanced much with anything else but I started to read The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness[4].

I finished this month the The Danish Way of Parenting[5] and I'm around 2/3 of One Up On Wall Street[6] (in Spanish) so I hope I will finish it this month so I can start The Left Hand of Darkness[7] by Ursula K Leguin.
