Raleigh to Fayetteville via the NS H-Line and South End Subdivision, continuing to Florence, South Carolina, then on the I-20 median to Columbia, South Carolina, then to Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida, where service could branch to Orlando/Tampa and Miami.

Regional lines in South Carolina running Greenville - Columbia - Charleston - Savannah (Ga.) and Atlanta (Ga.) - Augusta (Ga.) - Columbia would complement this well.

Coastal Plain Connector bus system

Bus routes connecting every urbanized area/urban cluster in North Carolina's Coastal Plain, feeding the Piedmont and Carolinian trains at Raleigh Union Station. Example routes:
