a kind chap gifted me a DeWalt DW701 chop saw. it has seen much use but still works.
DW701 was missing one of it's five adjustable leveling feet.
2022-07-26 - DeWalt 701 chop saw in use before new foot made (451K).
i could spend some time setting it up so that when i use it on my site shed build it can cut straight. first it needs a foot!
2022-07-26 - DeWalt 701 original foot in place (435K).
i measured it up and got to work in FreeCAD to come up with a simple working design.
with a design that i thought might work i exported it as an obj file for PrusaSlicer to slice for a flex print.
the first print failed due to my old flex filament (not dried for a while) being too inconsistent in diameter: it jammed in the feed to the print cabinet. print two worked ok - not the best print and a bit stayed firmly stuck to the build surface that was now on the print and not on the plate:-( this was despite a good layer of pva glue on the plate.

2022-07-28 - DeWalt 701 new foot bottom view, bit broken:-( (135K).
that plate is a few years old and i had pastured it out to print the difficult materials: flex and poly-carbonate. i think that the center area has had so many high-stick parts printed on it that the adhesive between the film and plate gave up eventually. it is double-sided so hopefully the other side has a few years left in it.
2022-07-30 - damaged prusa build plate, i am guilty as charged; the white mess is pva glue (263K).
anyway - i now have five adjustable feet on DW701:-)

i plan to make a workmate top with recesses for the feet - and to cut wood!
