This makes me feel icky

Unlike the Hashtag index, the @Mentions index is of beings, not terms and topics. I truly understand the significance of that. I only want this to be a postive and helpful thing, and not to exclude or make beings feel bad.

I collected this @Mentions index because I wanted to find content and discussions by beings regardless of what it was published. Originally I used it privately, but I have made it public because I believe it can help geminuats be closer together in this smol space of ours. I debated this choice for a while with myself, and should this index prove to not be a positive force, I will remove it.

I have taken special steps to keep this positive and affirming:

Never using gendered pronouns or even labels like "people" or "humans" for a being.
Only providing a view of mentions sorted alphabetically.
Never providing a view of mentions sorted by how often a being is mentioned. Our community isn't a game that someone can "win" and mentions are not "points."
Never using the word "popular."
Reworking the mention-detection logic as liberal as I can so it finds as many mentions as possible, while minimizing the noise.
