The in situ observations show the arrival of a slow shock wave registered in all solar wind parameters by ACE and DSCOVR at 08:25UT on Jan 11th. The magnetic field magnitude increased from 2 to 5 nT. The solar wind speed increased from 281 to 328 km/s and has remained slow since then. The geomagnetic conditions are currently quiet and are expected to remain quiet to unsettled. Further investigations on the source of the shock are needed, but a possible explanation is the arrival of the north-western CME ejected from the Sun around 3:40 am on January 6th.
