I have been lurking in the Gemiverse for a while now and thought I would give it a go as well. I'm not really sure yet what this gem will become. I hope is that it can be an outlet random thoughts where I don't need to think about a particular reader or audience. I have been wanting to begin writing for quite some time now, but have always managed to come up with excuses... so no more excuses I guess.
What I really like about gems thus far is how personal many of them are. The way many people write in their gems reminds me of the diary section of an old forum site called Skunk.nu which was very central to me growing up. What made that special was that people wrote what was on their mind without much thought about whether or not it was of interest to anyone else. Or atleast that was the impression I got, and it was in many ways how I wrote in mine.
Anyway, let's see where this goes. Wish me luck.
