The way that people freak out over vtubers is really interesting to me. I watched a video of the last Anime Expo where a popular vtuber signed autographs *through a robot* and most of the comments were acting like that this was the apocalypse of human interaction. But honestly, I kinda love the idea. It provides a lot more privacy than regular Twitch streaming, and because most of the intrigue is precisely in the fact that it's an anime girl and not a real person, the likelihood of doxing and such is much lower (but not zero). I'd like to get into it and become the world's first Esperanto vtuber but I looked at those model prices once and gave up. Maybe if I have 800 dollars burning a hole in my pocket one day.
Although, I am spending quite a bit of money for a fursona refsheet. Priorities.
