I haven't posted here in a while as most discussions have moved over to the mailing list, and I haven't had much time for long-form articles anyway. However I have still been updating and tweaking the server here and there. I'm going to try to be more diligent about posting changelog updates in this section instead.
I've updated all of my old journal pages to hard wrap at 40 characters instead of 70. I'm becoming more and more drawn to preformatted text with short lines as the solution to mobile gemini without dragging in the complexity of a markdown language. It's just as easy to compose. Even on large screens, it's still plenty readable without being obnoxiously narrow.
I also brought back the ASCII astronaut. Reflowed text be damned!
