Antlion Audio has two guides on their blog to help set up a noise filter in Equalizer APO. They use the RealFir VST plugin for this. However, the noise profile cannot be recorded in EqAPO, so they load the VST into OBS. In OBS they record the noise profile, and then open an OBS profile file to find the chunk data for the VST. They copy this chunk data into the VST plugin in EqAPO.

I also use ReaGate as a noise gate. ReaGate has a "pre-open" setting that delays output to allow some sound from before the gate is opened through. This allows me to set the gate to block more without worrying about it opening partway through a word. I also set a low pass filter on the detection to prevent my keyboard from opening the gate. Antlion Audio also has a guide on this.

While I do not use a ModMic, I found these guides to be helpful and easy enough to follow.
