I've spent a bit more time now using gelim both in the Linux console and in terminal windows and I find it to be quite functional. It is easier to use than (for me, at least) than Bollux, but I still prefer clagrange (if it just didn't have that annoying interaction with a concurrently running instance of Lagrange in the X11 session).
Recommended.
