N vs S, Urban or Rural, Zoning Laws, Price of Land
materials, land-working tools, grants for power, different power sources, water strategies (rain collection could work if we live in the right area),
In my mind, the mission would be to get chickens & work the land to sell eggs, veggies & fruits at a market. Get off the grid if living rurally. We could start by finding a couple campers or even buy land before a growing season, work the land to save money, either commute or camp on the land/live in our vehicles. We should also make it a priority to give the deed and our land back to the indigenous people of wherever we settle. By doing this, we would still own our land, but we would pay property taxes to their nation instead of the fed. govt.
We should consider a joint bank account for everyone interested. To me, this would look like keeping a strict ledger of amounts of money put in by everyone in case someone wishes to withdrawl from the project. I’d wanna come up with some kind of funds-use agreement that we all sign before we share the account too. I know we all trust each other, but it would protect us all from conflict later on. <3
