No new posts for about a week now. Danganronpa V3 was so good that I just didn't feel like playing video games for a while. Plus I've been very active with programming and stuff. But I did complete one tiny game for our Game of the Month, so I should probably write about it.

"Hike, climb, and soar through the peaceful mountainside landscapes of Hawk Peak Provincial Park as you make your way to the summit." It's a very cute and kinda inspirational coming-of-age story, sort of like Celeste. Except instead of being a 20-hour-long super difficult 2D platformer, it's a 1-hour-long super relaxing 3D platformer. So it's actually sort of the opposite of Celeste...
Yes! If you've bought the Racial Justice bundle from itch.io, then you already own this game. It's very short, but very high quality. Just 1-2 hours of exploring a very bright, very detailed, and very cheerful world. Things do get a bit more serious as you ascend to the top of the mountain, but not by much. I've said that there are parallels between A Short Hike and Celeste, but they each have their own approach and their own tone, which they execute really, really well. The game looks and sounds beautiful. *9/10, this game is not /special/ but it is extremely well-made, and is guaranteed to cheer you up.*
There is a native Linux version. And the game uses a low-poly aesthetic which is very friendly to older computers. *Highly recommended!*
