@swan There isn’t one yet, I’ll need to add it. 🙂 · 4 months ago

The leftmost two toolbar buttons can be changed in Settings.

@skyjake I did saw that but I couldn't find the toolbar button function for "focus on url field" or something similar, unless I'm just blind · 4 months ago

A post about the new build:

gemini://skyjake.fi/gemlog/2022-03_android-alpha6.gmi

@swan Will have to see about the Play Store when the app is further along.

Moving the URL field to the bottom would be a relatively large UI change, but doable of course. I'll think about it. In the meantime, adding a toolbar button action for focusing the URL field would be quite trivial. The leftmost two toolbar buttons can be changed in Settings. · 4 months ago

@skyjake awesome! Will you put it up on the Play Store in the future too?

I'm liking it so far, only potential feature I would love is to be able to move the address bar to the bottom somehow or have an easy-access button to focus on it (to bring up the on-screen keyboard without reaching all the way to the top of the phone) · 4 months ago

@swan Yes, an alpha build is available. See here:

Wait, is there a publicly available Lagrange for Android? Where can it be downloaded? · 4 months ago

I'm preparing a new build right now. It is basically just the changes from the v1.11 desktop release, without any new Android specific changes.

The good news is that my Android development environment has improved: I'm doing this build on my main machine, unlike the previous ones where I had to use a desktop PC that I don't use that often. Going forward, this allows me to work on the Android port more easily. · 4 months ago
