Mike's Gemini

Gemini might be the Gen X nerd dad equivalent of clumsily banging out three chords on a practice amp in the garage, but I think I like it anyway.

I'm planning to use this as a place to keep notes which aren't developed enough to go on the main blog, and as an archive for materials generated by my bots and other art-code projects which aren't structured enough for a full web treatment.

About me

I work for the Sydney Informatics Hub at the University of Sydney as a data science software engineer.

I'm a bit of a career amphibian, happy in either a humanities or technical context, but also dependent on both for my well-being.

I'm interested in generative art, mostly text-based, and have a fleet of bots based on neural networks and other, more traditional ways of generating texts.
