Oh, man... he was a mainstay in the late 80's / early 90's for me. I haunted bookstores incessantly hoping they'd found more room for him in the section I too often felt all alone in....

I remember totally loving The Illuminatus! Trilogy, although of course I don't remember a lick of it now. I've moved several times since those days, so I'll have to dig around to see if it survived... remembering it as a thick, mostly red-colored soft-cover....
