I use PgAdmin4 frequently in my work and have it on my private server so I could see its login page many times. One day I realized how much inspiring is this.
I mean this picture on main PgAdmin4 page when viewed in the browser
I tried to imagine how these characters could look like if they had more details than flat empty faces and basic colours.
I started drawing, one person per day. After few days I thought I should call them Postgres Rangers - it sounded well for team which could appear in some comic. cartoon series or on collectible cards :) It reminded me of comics and series I saw in my childhood, like Power Rangers, W.I.T.C.H. or Winx Club. I considered drawing in style similar to W.I.T.C.H./Winx cards but finally did it in my own way.
I didn't give them names nor create some bigger story or universe. I had only vague vision they work in some big, painfully boring corporation and attract troubles very often. When I was drawing them, I felt some of them are rather serious, while other are more creative, hyperactive or playful - this was based on their appearance and outfits.
