My experience is that Europeans travel to different continents for different

reasons: Asian culture, African wildlife, South American beaches, etc. The U.S.

is seen as one big Disneyland where you go to laugh at the enormously large,

small sized drinks, overly friendly people (Hi dear! How are you? It's so nice

to meet you! Are those your kids? Ah, they're so cute! By the way, did you want

fries with that?) and overly loud people (HOWDY! Aaah, what? I SAID HOWDY! Oh,

hi). That's why they like places that are "over the top" like NYC, Vegas,

Hollywood, Florida, St. Louis, Orlando.

Another favorite is renting a camper and driving through the parks in

California, Texas, Grand Canyon or cross country.
