I'm a man from a small town in a small state. I am interested in computer science and cyber security. Most of my hobbies in that area include tinkering with Linux, writing software (C/C++, Python), and competing in capture the flags.
I'm a Christian. I enjoy reading theological books and of course The Bible. I was saved around November of 2019, and since then my heart for the Lord has been growing and it's been an incredible journey!
I have a beautiful wife! We are just recently married! We enjoy reading together, watching movies, disc golfing, having game nights with our friends, and serving our local church togethe :)
I like the simplicity. It is a nice breath of fresh air from the normal internet. As DistroTube would say, it's less bloated! It's nice to get away from the hostility that is on the internet and find a place that is peaceful! I really hope to just add to the content and make someone smile! It's been really fun just stumbling across random peoples gem capsules!
To state it in a concise manor, the word "goom" came from my grandpa who likes to say ridiculous things. And then Goomball MacGyver was the name of a Pathfinder character I created. And I have been slowly adopting the name for my online identity :)
