With some trepidition, I've bought an Oculus Quest 2, which will be a very interesting exploration of this new world. Well, it's ordered, hasn't arrived yet.
Apparently people are meeting up online using this in order to chat in Sign Language, which will be very interesting, so I'm curious to see how that works.
Lots of serious misgivings about the state of the industry - the best (and only) option for us in Australia seems to be Oculus, which is Facebook owned, and I don't particularly relish the idea of everything I do being monitored for targeted advertising. Lets see.
There's a bunch of SDK's though for us developers, which might be interesting - worth investigating and seeing what the possibilities are there so I had best dive in!
