At last I eventually decide to study Computer Engineering. Things have been a bit wonky lately, I stopped learning python and started C. Just because it was in the syllabus and thought it would be better to study C for better grades and ditch python for now.

It doesn't really matter. There's learning to program and then learning a language. I learnt to program (to some extent) in BASIC when I was 13. Since then I've learnt (and forgotten, some) different programming languages. The first one I learnt to a good level was probably C (before C99 standard), but I knew some programming already. For learning programming I honestly think Python is better suited; and professionally I would say C is not the one that will open you any doors. That said, I still like programming in C. · 2 months ago

As a soon-to-be computer engineering graduate in italy, I can tell you to go back and study anything else before it's too late · 2 months ago
