I've officially reached the comically funny stage of how often TypeScript saves my ass. It feels like having a super smart colleague that *really* likes verbose ways of explaining how I'm acting like a psychopath in any given moment.

I'm actually curious if you have an example or two. In my experience, TypeScript's type system often feels like a chore while not really providing strict enough rules to prevent me from being nervous about what the code is actually doing. It's not very popular, but PureScript, on the other hand, I have found to really enforce correctness. They're obviously very different, but I'm *currently* of the opinion that if you're going to go typed, you might as well get a type system that helps you more than TypeScript's · 10 months ago
