This morning saw another very busy first wave of departures from Dublin Airport, but none of the delays experienced last Sunday have been repeated.
Airport operator, the daa, was forced to put emergency measures in place after nearly 1,400 people missed their flights last weekend.
This morning, 12 security lanes were opened in both terminals to deal with the first wave of departures.
Queue times for checks peaked at 44 minutes in Terminal 1 shortly after 4am, while the longest wait time in Terminal 2 so far was 26 minutes at 04.43am.
The airport appealed to passengers not to arrive too early for flights and overwhelm services.
It recommends that people allow two-and-a-half hours before a short-haul flight and three-and-a-half hours before a long-haul flight, while those checking in a bag are advised to allow up to an additional hour.
Kevin Cullinane, daa Group Head of Communications, said that there was an understandable early presentation of passengers for airline check-in and bag drop desks in advance of security.
However, Mr Cullinane said there was no need to triage those passengers or use the new pre terminal areas for passengers in marquees in the short-term multi-storey car parks opposite Terminals 1 and 2.
These are being built as a contingency in the event they are needed in the weeks ahead once schools are fully closed for summer holidays.
The daa said 48,627 passengers are expected to depart from Dublin Airport today, with 45,451 due to arrive.
