I had covid early on. I've had AZ shot and a moderna shot. This is *bullshit*. People circling the drain and dying put down as 'covid deaths'. People with long term Sure, there are some, but fuck me. 5 mm deaths over two years on a population of 7.5 billion is fuck all. That's like dot one of one percent. People with multiple other concerns like diabetes, heart disease, liver, kidney and other chronic disorders... fuck - my garlic breath could have pushed them over the edge, never mind a cold or flu. Yes, some few people do take it badly who are otherwise healthy (and young even), but that is NOT the norm.
2. US to engage China over a Taiwan invasion, or US to engage Russia over a Ukraine invasion.
The USA is a bully who treats the entire world's resources as their own. They will assassinate, invade, foment coups - anything to gain control of resources for the corporations that own and control their military and government. But they *never* go up against anyone who can fight back. So, like crimea, the rest of ukraine is out of luck. Same goes for taiwan and china.
3. Trump as US President again for 1 term, or Mike Pence for 2 terms
The potus of ee.uu for either party barely matters on the world stage. It matters slightly domestically for social issues and monetary policy. Elect mickey mouse: same, same.
4. A year of Saturday dinners at your country's best restaurants, or a 3-day weekend of mind-blowingly fantasitic sex with your biggest crush.
The biggest crush option :-) One of us can do the cooking to keep going.
5. Work 3 8-hour days a week, retire at 50 but die at 70, or work 6 8-hour days a week, retire at 70, but live to 85
I don't care. We only know two things for sure in this life as humans:
- you are going to die
- you don't know when
