Yesterday, the site had a major hiccup that put it offline. No sign of it either in the Big Bad Web or on Gemini. I didn't check the Gopher, but being a major server failure, I'm sure it would neither be there. Anyway, it's true that you learn how much you love something when it's gone. Is it the people? Is it the bartender? Is it the music? I don't know, I'm just thankful it's there: a place where people still think before they post, and they post with care.
I don't want to be too creative with this one. It's a good place to be, something simple, honest and true. Just be there.
