You may know the recipe for ginger ale from shredded ginger and juice of lemons but that's too much work.. Let's make it a bit easier.
Mix everything, I heated some of the water to dissolve the sugar in it and mixed the ginger powder in. But I bet you can just throw it all together and shake to dissolve. Put in dark, warm place to ferment with lid closed shut and open to "burp" the pressure every day. In three to five days it's done. Serve chilled.
This is using relatively little sugar because it won't have enough time to fully ferment anyway. The point is to let it build up pressure and digest *some* of the sugar into alcohol. It's a very simple and refreshing alcopop. Very enjoyable.
Preparation time: ~10 minutes
