Despite the title: I am writing this in the afternoon.

I must say that is nice to see a calm, niche community. The Internet is not as fun as it used to be, and (in my experience) even the people who are more loose tend to sow conflict, distrust, and paranoia wherever they go. This place seems pretty lax and cozy, which I appreciate.

How is everyone doing today? Any plans that any of you would care to share?

My brother and his wife are visiting this weekend. Today, they and my wife and I and a couple friends are taking a "brew bus" to various wineries and pubs.

I'm currently learning the SVG spec, and marvelling at how elegant it is. I'm surprised that it didn't take over as the target media for animation when flash died.
