Please use the above form, modify to taste.

My philosophy about the pickup reviews...

These reviews are voluntarily provided by net users and as such represent their opinion alone. On behalf of the net guitar community, we thank you for your contribution. You have helped answer one of the most common FAQs!

If you find that the pickup review form is missing categories that you think are important - let me know, and just add them to your review. The form is to make pickups easy to compare, and to make the reviews concise and easy to read. Add anything and everything you feel is relevant.

I ___never___ edit the reviews for content. That's just not right...

Sometimes, I am compelled to minimally edit the reviews for format, i.e., I make them readable, fitting an 80 column format, etc. I do the absolute minimum. The readability as well as content of a review, in this sense, reflects the reviewer. It is the reviewer's contribution to the net community, not my contribution. It would also not be right to unduly alter that contribution ;-)

Sometimes, I am too busy to re-edit reviews that are mailed to me. In that case, I include them here as is, until I get a chance to reformat. I optimize for information transfer over prettyprinting. I think this is the most beneficial approach.
