My girlfriend and I have been working through this book called The Artist’s Way. It outlines a process to kickstart, discover, or re-discover the creative and artistic parts of yourself.
It’s been good to work through it. I read it last year but never did the exercises. I’ve been writing for 30 minutes by hand every morning this week. It’s nice to get my thoughts out every morning without a filter. It is difficult, though. I do filter myself a lot. Even when I know nobody will read it.
