[WP] You've seen the signs. For the last few weeks, they've been everywhere. Just in view for you to see. The organization has been trying to get your attention. But you just keep ignoring them. As soon as I stepped through the door to the house, I saw them. The agents. For the third time this week. They were trying to be blunt about it this time, eh? Coming straight to my door, probably posing as some makeup sales team. I decided to be blunt, too. I ran. I ran, ignoring the agents, straight to the local town square, trying my best to blend into the crowd. It worked, but I knew my disguise wasn't going to hold up for long. The agents were everywhere in this city, under its skin like rats. There was no escape. I saw two more agents turn the corner and I knew the game was almost up. As a last-ditch effort, I turned into an alleyway, maybe to climb a wall and escape into a building. Looking back, I don't remember what exactly went through my head when I made that decision. It's all a blur now, but I can say this for sure: it was a mistake. I was right where they wanted me to be. As I turned around, I saw the agents waking down this poor choice of a safe haven. At that moment, I knew it was hopeless. They had won. Like a deer in front of headlights, they trapped me, grabbed my arms in an iron grip, and said the words. Those 11 dreadful words, right into my ear. "We've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty."
