Families who have lost loved ones during the Covid-19 pandemic are being invited to share their stories as part of a visual art and poetry exhibition to be staged in October.
'Lost Lace' is a collaboration by visual artist Miriam McConnon and poet Jessica Traynor.
People in Ireland and Northern Ireland can share their thoughts about their loved ones on the Lost Lace Project website from now until the end of August.
Ms McConnon's outdoor installation will be made up of approximately 10,000 white 'roses' made by the artist from individual white handkerchiefs, which will be placed around the fountains at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens.
Meanwhile, Ms Traynor will be commissioned to write a series of four poems, honouring people, skills, art and connection.
The launch of the project will take place on 15 October and the installation will remain in place for two weeks.
The project is being supported by Dublin City Council and the OPW.
