Rough news: the group 2 lock on this thing is thoroughly defeating me. I'm getting a stand for a different practice lock, which'll be more approachable ergonomically and logistically. I haven't developed The Touch(tm) for safe locks yet, and my mapping accuracy is all over the place, +/- 1/2, when I should be able to read in 1/4s or even 1/8ths.
I actually had a hard time emotionally last night; getting the direct entry safes open, as low quality as they were, really made me hope I had a specific knack for this kind of work, and instead, it's just the usual! Practice! Experience! Feeling a little better today and probably going to take a day or two off to reorient my head.
