Got a new flat keyboard today, and going to buy a new monitor later as well (bye VGA! hello HDMI!) I'm glad I'm just spending this money instead of rigidly budgeting because I missed two weeks of work. It's not long-term sustainable but I can make rapid moves toward things I've wanted and needed :3
edit: oh my goodness this new monitor is nice. i'll need a new stand because this one bounces along with the rest of the desk :P
