Around a month ago my Grandfather passed away, a incredibly important man in my life. He was 98. My family moved in to his house after the death of my Grandmother, on New Years Eve, to help take care of him. It was heartbreaking seeing the strongest person in my life become so depressed. My grandmother was the love of his life, and still was even after dementia left her all but dead in her last few months of living.
It was was truly a miracle see him survive COVID-19 with no symptoms after she died, then fall (twice!), then get pnemonia, then fall again, and still survive. In the end, I think the heartbreak is what got him. It hurts to have him gone, but I'm happy he's finally at peace.
Anyway, that, combined with applying to college (I'm officially going to the University of Utah!), and school stuff, was why I was inactive. I'll try my best to be active more, but still have things to do!
